Board Members

Aaron Revere

Aaron Revere has over twenty years' experience in property acquisitions, due diligence, design, entitlement and development as a general manager and director for regional and national firms. He is experienced with all types of mitigation and ecological restoration for environmental permits, enforcement and compliance requirements throughout Virginia. Since 2008, he has acquired, entitled and developed 17 mitigation banks (>250,000 linear feet stream, and >800 acres wetlands) and numerous nutrient banks in Virginia. Today, Aaron engages clients and a variety of Real Estate projects throughout Virginia via New Bay LLC where he is sole owner, and Stockbridge OPCO LLC where he has 2 partners.

Aaron has worked with numerous resource agencies, landowners, municipalities, and private and public clients in the implementation of ecosystem services projects. Aaron served on the Virginia DEQ stakeholder panel to develop the initial Nutrient Trading program. Aaron holds a M.B.A from the Darden School of Business, a M.A. in Environmental Planning from the School of Architecture, and a B.A. in Environmental Science, all from the University of Virginia. He is a LEED accredited professional with four LEED certified projects to his credit. Aaron also serves on the Board of the Capital Region Land Conservancy in Richmond, VA.

James Parker

James Parker is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner with Clearwater Ventures LLC which provides its clients and customers with ecosystem services and offset solutions. James has worked within the ecosystem services industry since 2008 and gained broad expertise developing and operating ecological offset projects throughout the U.S including: stream and wetland mitigation, habitat and endangered species conservation, natural resource damage assessment, and water quality-nutrient reduction projects. James is a founding member of the Virginia Mitigation Banking Association and a past board member and president of the Ecological Restoration Business Association. James holds a BA from James Madison University and a MBA from the UVA Darden School of Business. He resides in Richmond, VA with his wife, 2 children, and several pets.

Darin Strickland

Growing up in Waynesboro, VA Darin watched the power of conservation management with the restoration of the South River. He has managed and consulted on numerous quail restoration projects. He is the Outdoor Operations Manager of Little George Rod and Gun in Buckingham, VA.

Kerry Hutcherson

Kerry Hutcherson is a real estate, land use, and conservation attorney who serves clients statewide on a variety of transactions involving one of our most precious resources: land. Upon receiving his law degree from the University of Richmond and a master's degree in land use planning from Virginia Commonwealth University, Kerry began his legal career as staff counsel for Virginia's leader in land conservation, the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, in 2007. Since 2015, he has been in private practice at the firm of Rudy, Coyner & Associates. Kerry and his wife, two boys, and fourteen chickens live in rural Hanover County.

Kyle Hart

Kyle Hart grew up near Farmville, VA where he spent his free time hunting, fishing, and roaming the woods with his parents, younger brother, and their English Setter. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2016, and has spent the past 4 years working for several conservation nonprofits. He currently lives in Washington DC where he works as the Mid Atlantic Field Representative for the National Parks Conservation Association.
